Today I discovered the 2009 South African Blog Awards website which is pretty cool. I was amazed by how many South African blogs are out there. After reading a few and browsing through others, it is worth mentioning the quality of some blogs as well as the variety out there.

I don’t want to turn this into a review of blog sites, or what were cool blog sites I found. What it does show me is the varying styles out there.

I have never really been into blogs. I have had deculture for about 4 years now, but only really made a concerted effort this year to actually do anything about it. I guess some people totally ruined the blog vibe for me over the years until I almost rediscovered it.

For me the 2009 South African Blog Awards inspires me to try harder…
